My idea of wedding videography might be a little different to some of the more traditional folks. There is nothing I enjoy watching less than a forced, static, and posey wedding video. There are a lot out there… Just look at anything pre-2014 (if you dare). My philosophy is that I’m a camera wedding guest, a friend who is there to capture those natural moments that don’t require too much direction. Of course, there will be moments of light suggestion and direction but I find that even when I do that, the best shots come in between the poses. At the end of the day, I am there to capture your wedding, not make it about me. You and your family have put so much time, effort and dollar bills into this big day so you should have a bloody good video to show off all the hard work. Stuff tradition, f*** the rules, make your wedding video epic, and REAL.
